What is the difference between Sepsis and Staph?

I went to mayo Clinic to find the cause for Sepsis.
https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/sepsis/symptoms-causes/syc-20351214 and searched for “causes”, but it’s only in title.
And for causes of Staph.“But staph infections can turn deadly if the bacteria invade deeper into your body, entering your bloodstream, joints, bones, lungs or heart. A growing number of otherwise healthy people are developing life-threatening staph infections.”

Staphylococcus is a genus if bacteria. It is the cause of an infection.

Sepsis is a condition where the body’s immune response to the infection starts to damage the body’s own tissues as well as the bacterial infection.
