Is there anyway I can get a print of a particular shot in a movie?

Asked by blakemasnor (323points) September 6th, 2008

I want to choose a frame from a film and use it as a poster. How do I do this? If I found the photo online could I get the print from a company or kinko’s? Or is there a company that does this all?

Out of curiosity, what’s the still of?

You should try contacting the studio that released the film. I’ve only ever seen animation stills for sale, but you never know.

Good luck… I wanted a still from a movie to use for a tattoo and I eventually had to give up on the idea.

@Megan64 I wanted the scene from What’s New Pussycat where Woody Allen is sitting in the raft and Peter Sellers in standing up near him.

if you can watch the movie on your computer, check this out. i used the free trial that came with mine, and it takes some pretty nice shots.
