What is the best phone service for Illinois (preferably northern illinois)?

My contract with the oh-so horrible sprint expires soon! Hooray! I want AT&T; so i can get the Iphone, but i want to know what service gets the best reception here.

If you want the iPhone, go for AT&T;, definitely. They have great service in Northern Illinois. My girflriend has trouble with her T-Mobile in the city. Verizon, of course, also has pretty good network service (after all you pay for it).

You can always check the coverage maps at www.cingular.com to see for certain.
