Why would Apple make Magnetosphere worse when they bought it?

Magnetosphere is so cool, so why did Apple make it so crap and tacky when they bought it out and bundled it with iTunes 8?

Come to think of it, is the iTunes visualiser anything like Magnetoshpere, it doesn’t seem anything link it now I think about it!

I like the old visializer better. I like magnetosphere too, but it should just cycle in occassionally with the old visializer. Well, at least they left the old one in there. I’m still waiting for ProjectM to get it’s act together and get Milkdrop working in iTunes. <sigh>
