Less people outside, less traffic maybe? Thanks.

Fewer Christians doing things in public on Sunday during “church time”. ;-)

Not having to work on the following Monday. ;-)

A more flexible work schedule resulting in more money to be made as income.

@Zaku so you have something against Christians doing things in public?

Monday’s off are really nice though. I actually don’t work Mondays and I love getting to stay at home when everybody else has to go to work. That sounds so awful but perhaps that’s just a little bit of my spiteful nature.

Back in the day, I worked for a union and I typically worked 40 hours in a week but also on Sunday. On Sundays, whether or not you we’re working 40 hours the rest of the week, we always got time and a half, so I appreciated that extra money when I was young. Now I would much rather have that day as a day of rest. I still sometimes do stuff around the house on that day but it’s more if I decide I feel like doing it as opposed to a Saturday feeling where I feel obligated to get a, b, and c done.

Waitressing was super busy so we got good tips. Working at the museum was slow so I could study or read if there were no patrons on my floor.

Most management was off on the weekends, so no feeling of someone hovering. 8)

@LifeQuestioner No. But in some communities where there are certain types of Christians whose views and behavior I very much do not share, whether specifically Christian, or just somehow statistically noticeably correlated with being a church-going American, I tend to (statistically) prefer the other parts of the community.

It doesn’t mean you’re spiteful if you enjoy doing things when other people are working. It’s long amazed me that people mostly work all the same days and hours – how are working people then supposed to benefit from the work of other people working at the same times? Only during breaks and days off?
