Why did Fox, and the right have such a problem with Taylor Swift?
All she did was encourage young people to register and vote, she didn’t tell them how to vote ,JUST VOTE.

Most young people support Biden, so of course her enlisting them to vote is an evil thing according to them. Believe me, if young people were in support of Trump, they would probably worship her.
In all honesty, I don’t know quite where this is coming from, but it sure is fascinating to behold. It isn’t just some “terminally online” thing that only fringe groups are sharing, it’s being peddled by establishment conservative media. I’ve seen it compared to “Nipplegate” in 2004: another Super Bowl controversy in an election year that distracted from something going on in the Middle East (in that case, the Iraq War). Though that hardly benefits either candidate in this case. Taylor Swift has never been some outspoken progressive icon, her endorsement of Biden notwithstanding. So it’s funny that now this “culture war” is being drummed up by the pundits, and Taylor Swift is the “new thing” Trump supporters have to hate for some reason. Either that or they’re just upset that a romance between a football player and the nation’s most popular white woman can’t be theirs to take advantage of since she endorsed Biden once and he appeared in a commercial for a COVID vaccine…
Fox is horrible. They really have outdone themselves. It is laughable.
Why is Fox freaking out? Because young people are more likely to vote for the Democrats, and from what I hear Taylor supported Biden in 2020 (which I didn’t even know at the time).
Young people are notorious for not showing up to vote, but the real problem for Fox is if they are thinking long term plans, their viewership will go down over time if young people are liberal. I actually think they get threatened and pressured by the billionaire Dominionists also, but there goes my conspiracy theories again.
A lot of Nashville singers are Democrats. More than people might think. Now you have Black country singers, gay country singers, still plenty of female country singers, imagine that. Previously they hid their LGBT or ERA support, etc etc to not alienate their fan base, but a lot of them are coming out now.
Meanwhile, the funny irony of the whole thing is that the whole Taylor Swift thing is bringing more viewers to the NFL which means more money, more money, more money. I am betting the Super Bowl will have more viewers than ever, partly due to Taylor Swift. They say that this is an opportunity for girls to learn about football and more girls are watching football because of the Taylor Swift thing. The Commissioner of the NFL or someone high up was on the news saying she’s smart, she’s pretty, they’re not against her at all. They know what she’s doing for the sport, is what he meant.

Taylor not endorsing Joe is NOT the problem. The demographics of her fans are notorious for voting left. The right is running low on ways to keep fear in the hearts of their base, so they are grasping for straws!!! I just saw a meme on facebook that Taylor Swift had rich parents who paid for lessons and gave her a huge financial advantage.
I’m guessing that’s to counter people who say Trump had a rich father who funded him? I never jumped on that bandwagon of Trump’s wealth doesn’t count because his dad was rich.

@LadyMarissa no, Joe Biden does not have dementia, and everybody that claims he does has never dealt with dementia on a personal level. I cared for my mom for 3 years as her dementia worsened and I assure you that he is not showing any of those signs. It makes me kind of mad when people say that because a lot of times it’s based on his not being the most smooth speaker, but he does have a stutter. Also, the man is insanely busy and I can’t imagine how tired I would be at my age if I had his schedule, so probably some of that comes out too. But at least he knows how to pronounce words correctly.
@Smashley I actually am not a fan of Taylor Swift at all! I never listened to her music but I started disliking her back when she treated Tom Hiddleston poorly when they were dating. So I’m in this quandary where I love she’s getting young people to register to vote, and because I also support President Biden, I can’t deny the fact that she does. But I still don’t listen to her music or care about her music career.

I think like what @ragingloli and @Tropical_Willie said, and what I mentioned, t’s not taking into account all that he owes for legal fees and paying off people he committed crimes against. Taylor owes none of that. She’s just working and doing her thing, and making money, which is probably part of what is making the right wingers pissed. She’s a beautiful woman who needs no help from anybody and is pretty much scandal-free.
