What kind of person would make the book the book of bunny suicides?

It’s called black comedy. My number 1 guess is that you’re taking it way too seriously. If you don’t like it, that’s fine, but that doesn’t mean that the author has psychological problems.

@aidje: I don’t think zack was really insinuating that the author has psychological problems, as referenced by the part of the question which reads: “my number 1 guess is someone who was bored in high school and just doodled”.
The question is more along the lines of “What kind of person comes up with such a thing?”

As an aside, at this time Bluefreedom has 88 lurve, and aidje has 888 lurve. Mtl_zack has 2034, and I have 2430: same digits, different order.

Oh, I can totally relate to the bunny suicides. There are people who are genetically predisposed to committing suicide. My father, grandfather and great-grandfather all killed themselves. (father shot himself, grandfather drowned, great-grandfather hung himself). I think about suicide, at some level, every day. I’m not a risk to myself, however. I do have a certain level of disregard for personal safety, sort of a “walk into the fire” thing. My youngest daughter has it, too.

My personal favorite is the the bunny sitting in the middle of the street, with World of Knives on one side of the street, and ElectroMagnets R Us on the other, with an opening Monday sign.

Maybe the author drove through Hells’ Half Acre, Missouri and got the idea.
