Can McCain "steal" this election?

I read that earlier and it freaked me out!

I’m scared too but look at the poll average on Yahoo!. Obamas winning by a fair amount.

I still have doubt in my mind about Obama’s victory. I wouldn’t put anything past the Republican machine.

Repeat after me. Obama is too far ahead in too many states to make this plausible. There are something like 15 states which if Obama wins any one or two, he’ll win the election, whereas McCain has to win 14 or 15 of them in spite of being so far behind. When you have a close election where one state like Ohio or Florida can decide it, steal that state, you’ve stolen the election. A little harder to do when Dems have the governorship and the Secretary of State’s office (true in a lot of these states now, but not so much in ‘00 and ‘04). Also harder to get away with when Obama has a team of 5,000 lawyers in Florida alone.

Elumas, I’m only disgusted if you would prefer him to win using underhanded methods to suppress voters. Otherwise, I don’t want McCain to win, but I can’t be disgusted by someone who does.

I would be disgusted if any candidate won that way. I just support McCain.
