How do I rip audio from a YouTube clip?

I actually have the clip already. I just want to get the audio in WAV format. Please help?

Use firefox and download the download helper add on.

Otherwise, browse using google. I am sure you will find plenty of converter out there.

Since you didn’t specify if you are using Mac/Windows/Linux I will give you one solution for the Macintosh. Audio Hijack

If it is just one clip that you need the audio for I will happily do it for you if you send me the link.

This might help. I haven’t used it but lifehacker is usually is pretty good about suggesting software. Keep in mind this just records the audio played on your computer. So you actually have to listen to what you record when you record it.

This can do it. It’s somewhat tedious, but you don’t have to download any programs.

To rip audio from YouTube video clip is quite easy and quick by the use of a program called streaming audio capture. You only need to play YouTube clip on your computer and then this program can catch and save it into WAV.WMV, etc automatically. I like using this program to rip audio from youtube videos.
