How to burn CDs on an original iMac with no CD-R drive?

I have an original iMac with a CD drive, but it can’t burn CDs. Is there a way to burn songs I have downloaded onto CDs using this iMac?

yeah, getting an external burner or borrowing a friend’s computer that has a burner are your only real options.
