Does anyone know of a way to make Microsoft Outlook 2003 look like Microsoft Outlook XP?

Asked by RandomMrAdam (1655points) January 2nd, 2009

I work as a consultant and I recently upgraded someone from Office XP to Office 2003 due to software errors. Now the client wants the new software to look like the old software, I explained that Microsoft will change the way things look and it isn’t my fault. Any idea’s on add-ons or anything to make the display changes. Basically some items that were previously on the right-side pane are now on the left, such as ‘calendar’ and what not.

I doubt it, I don’t think you can change the look of Office 03

You can however upgrade and get Mozilla Thunderbird (free) which you can get tons and tons of addons etc.
And just happens to have a theme style that looks exactly like Windows Mail for XP

There are third-party mods for making (the highly er, new and different, to be polite) Microsoft Office look like it used to, with English menus instead of hieroglyphics. I don’t have links for you, though.

If anyone does have any links for what Zaku was talking about, that would be great! [and will get you some lurve ;)]
