Who is the other guy, not the cast member?

Andy Samberg is the first guy who starts singing. He played in the movie Hot Rod
YouTube says the two guys have a group called The Lonely Island. Not sure if that’s legit or not.

I wasn’t sure who the cast member was…so I just gave the name of the first guy I saw.

according to iTunes Jorma Taccone was only in that video and, per RandomMrDan’s find, Hotrods
Jorma is a writer for SNL, and is also part of a comedy Troupe called Lonely Island…three guys, Andy, Jorma and another guy. They pretty much created all those digital shorts that have been playing on SNL since Andy Samberg became a cast member. They actually have an album coming out I think next month. If you do a search for Lonely Island there is just tons of material that they’ve put out there, just not over broadcast media (w/ the exception of the digital shorts).

@ Dale – Good to see you again, mate.
Dale got it right, they write/direct/act as a trio. They did Hot Rod and most of the shorts.

@ dale you are correct but I do believe that The Lonely Island was the group Andy, Jorma, and the other guy formed in college. They all got put on SNL excpet the other two are writers and Any is a cast member. I found the lonely Island like 3 years ago and it’s got some damn funny stuff on it.
@madcapper – Yeah, that sounds about right…it’s been a while since I first read their bio, so I didn’t remember the third guys name (or that he was a writer for SNL too).
