One John Gault is a character in Ayn Rand’s book Atlas Shrugged. Another John Gault is an actor/writer. Or was it a metaphorical question? ;o)

On a different note, I really enjoyed reading The Fountainhead but for some reason couldn’t get into Atlas. I did recognize the name, which is what brought me here.

I don’t know – but when you find out can you tell me?

I’m about 360 pages into Atlas Shrugged, so… Give me another week (or three, there are many other books I’m currently reading) and I’ll get back to you.

Seriously though, I’m just making sure this question stays in my profile, as so far I’m really enjoying the book. Rand’s ideas have been engaging up to this point and I’ve found the book to be eerily prophetic in respect to much of story.

It’s a good read, I’d recommend it now even being only part way through.

It is good…but she does keep repeating her points over and over again. And her characters sure can talk a LONG time!

I can’t figure if she’s discussing Socialism or Communism.
