Does anyone have any confirmation, inside information or otherwise on when Rogers in Canada is planning on getting in bed with Apple to bring us the iPhone?

Gizmodo reports that the iPhone is rumored to be launching in Canada by the end of this month. Article link but then again thats just a rumor. No one other than the top guys at apple know when its going to launch. Btw alot the bloggers are saying that the iphone will launch with Roger Wireless in canada

Yeah. At present, Rogers is the only GSM carrier in Canada. It is very likely that Rogers is a lock to get the iPhone when it comes out here. The question is when…

In order to accommodate the iPhones internet usage, Roger’s would have to change the current data plans offered. Roger’s does not offer an all-you-can-eat data plan. Roger’s has quite the telecom monopoly and I doubt the iPhone offers the impious or incentive to give customers more.

Anyone heard any new details on when the iPhone might actually be sold in Canada? Clearly before Christmas (2007) is out of the picture now.

Rogers will be carrying out the iPhone between Apple’s Q4 and early 2008. It seems like it may come out during March, but that’s my guess.
