Anyone here been daignosed with an overactive bladder?

I’ve had a bladder infection/UTI before, so I know what that feels like and that’s not what I’m experiencing now. I just seem to have to go all the time. I do stay pretty hydrated, but even when I’m not drinking a lot of water, my body just seems to want to flush it out fast.

I was thinking I may have an overactive bladder. I haven’t gone to the doctor yet. I was wondering if anyone here has actually been diagnosed with it and would be willing to share any info?

Well, you asked in April, hopefully you got checked out properly and everything is well – but for others – frequent urination is not necessarily an overactive bladder. It can be indicative of a number of problems which as I understand it are ruled out first. (So says my aunt, the nurse.)

You might want to ask about other causes, if your doctor doesn’t work that out for you.
