Retrieve a Word document.

I inadvertently closed a document I was working on without saving the last version. Is there any hope of retrieving it?

I don’t think so. If Word crashes while you are working on something this is sometimes possible but not if you closed it voluntarily. There is a program out there called GoneIn60s from Download.com that will allow you to recover a program you accidentally closed up to a minute after doing so. This won’t help you this time I’m afraid but maybe in the future.
