Suggest sexy vampire movies?

Asked by jjosephs (115points) August 17th, 2009

I have a girl coming over next week to watch movies at my house. I need a sexy vampire flick that’ll help get her in the mood for some necking.

Suggest some good vampire movies that fit the bill.

Embrace of a vampire (quite erotic).

Every vamp film is erotic and sexy , that is the lure of a vampire how else you think they get them to turn…

Every vamp film is erotic and sexy

Yeah, Nosferatu was so hot. Not to mention 30 Days of Night. Oh, and I Am Legend. Mmm…

.
This list might help provide some insight.

The 1979 version of Dracula with Frank Langella.

I just watched Lesbian Vampire Killers… it was kinda funny.

You can watch True Blood (tv series) on HBO or online. It has a lot of sex in it, but it also has a great storyline. If you’re watching it just for the sex thing, it might not be the best idea. It always ends with a cliffhanger, and it has a lot of violence in it (what vampire movie doesn’t?).

I enjoy it, and there is sex. Especially in the second season.

@dee1313 is right, if you want sex and vampires, True Blood is your best bet.

Good luck!

The Hunger (1982) is a famous one, with Catherine Deneuve, David Bowie and Susan Sarandon.

I’m surprised that no one answered dracula…
I love dracula!

El_Cadejo's avatar

@Psycop that movie is awesome.

it actually sucks, like a lot. On the upside, theres a lesbian scene with alyssa milano and you see her boobies. Thats enough for me :)

@cyndihugs Um, 8 postings above you…hello?

cyn's avatar

@filmfann I meant the 1931 dracula…..

filmfann's avatar

The spanish or english version? I love both, though I disagree with the critics. Lugosi was mezmorizing! However, he wasn’t as sexy as Langella.
My friends wife had trouble containing herself after that movie.
But she did, dammit.

what about Van helsing….
I might’ve spelled it wrong.

Roman Polanski’s Fearless Vampire Killers?

tiffyandthewall's avatar

i don’t know about all girls, but i loved dracula (1931). i only watched the english version, but i’m planning on watching the spanish one as soon as i buy the dvd. twilight is a good vampire movie if you want a comedy/appreciate shitty storylines.

Twilight!!

Shegrin's avatar

Yeah, The Hunger tops my list. Second would have to be Dracula: Dead And Loving It. I know, I know. Not very sexy; more funny. But Mel Brooks and Steven Weber make it all worthwhile.

Interview with a Vampire/Queen of the Damned.

They’re bad, but if you go into it understanding that they’re bad, they’re kind of fun. :)

dee1313's avatar

@evegrimm I love Interview with the Vampire, but I also have a tendency to enjoy movies that aren’t necessarily popular. I didn’t like Queen of the Damned though.

For pure sexy-ness, I wouldn’t say Interview with the Vampire. Queen of the Damned seems okay for that purpose. You don’t really have to watch Interview with the Vampire to understand Queen of the Damned.

I wouldn’t suggest Twilight either, for sexy-ness or just a movie to watch. There is no sex in the first book (first movie), and… ehhhh I won’t get into it.

El_Cadejo's avatar

Interview was great. QotD on the otherhand did suck. Read the books.

MacBean's avatar

Anne Rice is an asshole. Don’t support her.

dee1313's avatar

You could watch Bloodrayne. Its not a super fantastic movie, but it has vampires and sex.

@uberbatman I did read Interview with the Vampire, but was lost through most of it. All I remember that was significantly different from the movie was something about zombie vampires. I don’t do well with super wordy books.

@MacBean Just because someone might be an asshole doesn’t mean they don’t deserve to be paid for their work, especially if it has nothing to do with me receiving goods/services. Who cares if the author is an asshole, so long as the book is good. Just the same, I’m not going to avoid movies with a certain celebrity in it because that celebrity is an asshole. If someone is doing bad things, and profiting from it, then not supporting that is okay, no matter how good the good/service is. Like getting pets at a pet store that gets them from puppy mills.

MacBean's avatar

Okay, then Anne Rice is an asshole and a poor storyteller. Don’t support her.

filmfann's avatar

the Hunger might be the best on this list

Shegrin's avatar

@MacBean, when I lived in NYC, my friend and I were walking home one night down Spring Street. We passed this wide-eyed woman who jumped at everything. She was afraid of her own shadow. When I saw her face, I realized who she was and laughed out loud into the night air. She broke into a run to distance herself from us. She was Anne Rice. I have since been utterly amused that Anne Rice is afraid of the dark!

hellboy's avatar

I think Twilight movie should do the job.

@hellboy Welcome to fluther. Lurve.

hellboy's avatar

@filmfann you are also welcome in the list of my friends. :)

dee1313's avatar

@MacBean Lol. I still enjoyed watching Interview with the Vampire. To each his own.

What about the late, great Ingrid Pitt? She’d make any woman bi-curious. I’ll never forget that nude dance scene in The Wicker Man, although not a vampire movie. She shows a lot of T & A in Countess Dracula too. The scene in the ‘79 version of Nosferatu where the vampire’s biting Mina’s neck is probably the sexiest vampire bite scene ever, even though Nosferatu was ugly as a shit house rat. Brad Pitt was man pretty enough in Interview With The Vampire to interest any woman. Spike’s one cool cat, and though not a vampire, Faith could slay me anytime, and like Ingrid, could make a woman question her sexuality. I’m sure Johnny Depp’s going to sink Twilight’s pathetic ship when he play’s Barnabas in the upcoming Dark Shadows movie. Everybody loves Johnny.
