Is there a way to ensure that your music folder looks just like your itunes song list?

I have my itunes set to copy all the music I play into my library. Then when I go to delete something it removes it from the list and says that the files go to the recycle bin. But when i look around in my itunes music folder I see artists and albums I deleted. Is there a way to ensure that your music folder looks just like your itunes song list?

iTunes tells you someplace on the site that you can delete from your playlist but not from the Library. The best I’ve been able to do is right click on whatever music I want from my desktop, purchased or free stuff and add it into the purchased list and iLike list.
