I know I've seen this anecdote in print, can't remember where, can someone tell me?

so basically the story is about an overheard conversation.

here’s the short version:
Man says to woman companion:” I don’t feel you’re feminine enough”
She retorts:“Well, I think you’re feminine enough for the both of us!”
(good for her!)

I swear I’ve read this somewhere (it was more elaborate) would really like to know where I saw it.

not sure, but it reminds me of the one where a woman tells Winston Churchill that if he were her husband, she’d put poison in his coffee, and he replies, “If you were my wife, I’d drink it!”

A friend of mine quoted the aforementioned story in a conversation, I have read it before and would like to find a copy of it to frame and give as a gift.
