yes, you’ve spent a whole day on fluther and no one has lurved your contributions.

you might want to consider why that is and what you can do to rectify it.

welcome to Fluther!

Clarification… many of my questions have been chosen as great. “two times in a row” was poor wording on my behalf.

i was reffering to seeing it twice in the same sitting. soz.

more of a question on addiction.

i have not just been looking at fluther waiting for questions, i have been working too. but i did check my fluther tab on the browser every 30 minutes or so.

Psh. I don’t think I’ve missed more than a day since I started. Welcome to the club. :)

Fluther is good, but the real world is better.

Try to limit yourself, so you don’t spend literally 24hrs every day on Fluther, or the internet in general. it’s not healthy.

@augustlan

it is a great site thats for sure. i really like the live real time features too. i make sites for a living and am impressed by this site. i need to look in to this live updating stuff so you dont have to refresh.

its gonna be the way of the future for sure.

yea, kind of stuck here really. i work at a pc from home. i really need to get to the gym though. starting to get aches in my legs from time to time. not good for a 26yo that used to do martial arts and body building. not healthy at all.

It messes up sometimes and will give it to you twice. No worries. It happens to a lot of us.

@poisonedantidote You and Fluther are in the honeymoon phase. Enjoy the all-day-long, everyday, J.B.F.-hair while it lasts. Eventually, you wont even open the door for poor ol’ Fluther.

I have received the +1 every single day since joining. I haven’t missed one yet.. Usually I collect at midnight; once in a while it’s the next day. However, it’s not in 24-hour sessions!

I just got a +1 around the same time. I’ve never gotten two in one sitting, but it gives me the heebie jeebies to get a +1 while I’m online. That should mean it’s time for bed, but I usually stay up at least three hours past then.

timtrueman's avatar

Was it just twice or was it five times? There is an hard to track down bug where occasionally someone will get +1 five times instead of just once (always exactly five times). I think it goes without saying if we figure it out we’ll fix it.

Hooked on Fluther? Aren’t we all.

Maybe that’s what happened to Zen and Evelyns_Pet_Zebra. Lurve rehab?!?

Aha! Are you one of those people with multiple identities?

I sometimes get several a few hours apart. I have no idea why.

Nah, I haven’t answered much recently so I haven’t received much lurve. Meaning: I see the list full of it quite often. It doesn’t bother me though.

If I’m not mistaken, the servers for Fluther are at US PDT time (currently GMT -7). So their “two days in a row” can also mean twice in one sitting for those of us in other time zones. Me: CET (GMT +1 (Amsterdam)).

trailsillustrated's avatar

I’m on pdt time and I never get two in one day, I’m also on a computer most of the day so I’m always checking in and out

trailsillustrated's avatar

oops I mean gmt-8. so anyways still on the same day.
