I have my iPod connected to my guitar amp, could this damage my amp?

I used the 3.5 mm adapter to connect my iPod to the amp, could this harm it?

Depends… how good is your amp?

(My guesses are that it wouldn’t be different than any other signal… just don’t turn it up too loudly.)
