I find science to be highly interesting. I loved it as a child and I still do.

I do like Science in regard to information. But I’ve learned far more from Art and Literature than Science.

G’day Philosopher,

Thank you for your question.

I am interested in scientific issues.Unfortunately, my maths isn’t good enough to follow much of high level science.

Regards

I am intrigued by some of the things going on in Physics, though for the most part my interest is more about engineering than just science. Sure, theories are nice but I am more pragmatic.

Still, science does interest me insofar as seeing what is on the horizon; brain implants, new battery technologies, etcetera.

I am very interested in science, and love learning about it. I’m an evolutionary biologist, so luckily I bet to do this all the time! I like to listen to lectures about other branches of science, too, though. I always go to the biology department seminars of the university I attend. Course if they’re too divergent from my field (even things like microbiology or bioinformatics) sometimes it’s hard for me to really grasp the nitty gritties… but with a talented speaker, the point can be clear. And even if I get lost in the middle, I always understand the conclusions, which is the most important part. :)

One thing I like to do is watch the TED talks! (Sometimes they get posted as Qs on Fluther. They’re always really cool, plus the talks are all totally understandable, even if they’re about something as complex as physics or robotics.)

I love science of all kinds. From plants to social sciences, I just love it. I buy old textbooks to learn more (it’s how I learned microbiology). I get science catalogs and drool over the microscopes and oscilloscopes. love you science!

I love Science and Math. I hit a barrier of comprehension in Calc III, but Science has stuck with me. I’ve taken just about every science class there is to take from Organic Chem to Anatomy and Phys. to Astro Physics.

I really enjoy “The Teaching Company” audio books that are general in nature and I found one of my favorite audio recording to be a 12 disc MCAT review.

Yep. Discoveries are made every single day.

Indeed I do. In a few days I graduate, and will officially be a scientist.

@jeffgoldblumsprivatefacilities Just graduated last spring; I LOVE telling people I’m a scientist!

I have an interest in science and scientific advancement, but not to the point where I would make it a job. I simply don’t have the brain capacity for that.

Love it too.
