I have sangria ingredients, I just need help with the amounts?

Asked by metadog (378points) December 28th, 2009

Hi! I was at a restaurant the other night and had some very good sangria. I asked for the recipe, but got only the ingredients instead. I guess it was some kind of bartender secret. Can you help me fill in the blanks with the amounts?

Merlot
Blackberry Brandy
Peach Schnapps
OJ
Club Soda
Triple Sec

Thanks!!

Part of the fun of sangria is that it’s not an exact science. I would just pour everything in until it tastes good, then add some chopped fruit.

it’s all “parts, parts, parts.” you add however you want.

After you’re done with that one.. try a white sangria .. they are awesome too.

@NaturalMineralWater Ooh, white sangria is awesome. I made one with blueberries and mango. White wines taste great with berries.
