LOL
i guess i should wrote a better question—what i mean is – do people get more views because of submitting to loads of flickr groups? or is Tagging? or posting on weblogs?

As needleinthehay, the main factor to getting more views is by taking pictures. With that said, you can drastically improve your image views by posting on your tumble-log / blog / website. The problem with flickr groups is that most flickr groups are so big that in most cases the picture gets lost among the ocean of pictures. So try posting it in smaller flickr groups.

Tagging is ridiculously important. Think of any little word that might describe that picture and use it. You also might try to think of foreign words to use as tags as well, i.e. alternate names (endonyms/xenoymns) for the country being photographed. You never know what people are searching for in Google images after all.

Also, never underestimate the importance of groups on Flickr. I’ve posted a pretty unimpressive photograph with the right tag to the right group, and it got loads of hits and actually got placed into an online city guide. So, do join lots of groups and fill the pool.
