NSF(most)Work—What would be good music for airports these days?

Asked by Civic_Cat (530points) January 6th, 2010

Back in the 1970’s, Brian Eno created _Music for Airports_—here’s the Wikipedia article and here’s some of the music in Youtube

Recently, with body scans, videos like this from Tommy Lee’s Methods of Mayhem might be better (though there’s also Luscious Jackson’s Naked Eye, the video (here) which looks like it was made in an airport).

On one hand, Brian Eno’s music is soothing, but on the other hand, the latter seems more reflective of the zeitgeist.

Perhaps other, better videos exist; if so, please tell me of them.

Thanks.

Brian Eno vs Methods of Mayhem?
Please…that’s like comparing da Vinci to a guy who paints your house.

Still Brian Eno and his spawn. We don’t need to reinforce Zeitgeist in these settings. Kitaro, Constance Demby, Vangelis et al.

@itmustbeken,

Let me guess: you’re not a Limp Bicuit, Linkin Park, or Eminem fan.
