Pet Sematary by Stephen King. Not real…but crazy anyway.

When I was a kid, my Father, who would normally shoot barn cats when they became badly injured or sick, decided to get modern. We had an old house cat who had to have been 20 years old conservatively. He put her in a cardboard box, cut a hole in it and put the hole over the tailpipe of the car! I don’t recall how long it took before he removed the box, but she was good and dead when we buried her.

@majorrich that’s really funny because my dad did the same thing to one of my birds. It had this tumor that just took over part of its body and he didn’t want to spend money to put it down. He just put the whole cage in a plastic bag in front of the tailpipe rather than a box. So horrible, but at least it didn’t have to suffer anymore.

Speaking of chimps, we have an animal sancutary in the foothills of my county. These two chimps went absolutely apeshit pun intended on this guy and ate his face, foot, and genitals. How tasty.
