Because although because of the date I was suspicious, I wasn’t 100% sure. I didn’t think that with the problems involved with international time zones etc., that Fluther would go that far. Kudos!

I gotta admit, it’s a little weird seeing answers I didn’t write everywhere but I’ve been known to fluther in my sleep. This is all a dream I’m going to wake up from tomorrow.

Nobody is really taking the opportunity to have anonymous fun. Maybe they think that they really will really be “de-cloaked” a little later.

There’s nothing confusing about it.
The person’s real name is right in the middle of the new name. e.g. “timvioletdrewen” is Violet. If you’re not sure about it, you can just click the name and go to the profile, where it will show the right name.
