What is IE8 and IE7's version of Firefox's "copy link location"? see detail?

Asked by flo (13313points) June 12th, 2010

I tried to permalink one of my few answers in a thread in fluther with “copy short cut”, but it doesn’t specify the one answer I want. It shows that one answer plus other answers around, it, including one of my other answers.

“Copy Shortcut” is the IE equivalent to “Copy Link Location.” Can’t answer about the rest of it, though.

As far as I can see, you can’t link to a particular answer. All the permalinks open the overall question.

Doh, wait a second, I was wrong.

I see you can link to a particular answer, clicking on the paragraph mark ( ΒΆ ) that appears next to the flag

But it opens the overall question centered on that answer. All the other answers will still be visible.
