Is there any way to get my ipod to recognize the mic on my bluetooth headset?

I got an app from cydia that made the track skipping buttons work, but not the mic. I really need it, please help nif you know of any way on earth to get it to work.

I tried looking online and it looks like Apple disabled bluetooth support for microphones, even for jailbroken iPod Touches. You’re only option is to get a wired microphone headset if you want to make VOIP calls.
