Is it odd to day dream?(About someone or something...Not yourself)

Today ( 6/28/10 at about 11:35) I day dreamed about the one that I like (Look at mini bio or later questions for answer) combined with a song that I was listening to (I belong to you by Lenny Kravitz) and since it had that sorta slow, sexy type move to it I had a very odd day dream bout her and me…Honestly it got me going XD. But back to the subject would that be counted an odd thing? I don’t usually get turned on by a day dream lol.

Nothing odd about that. I’d say day dreaming is rather common.

I always day dream about what I will do with my lottery winnings. Giving most of it away to friends and family. SOme of you Fluther people are on my list too. ;-)
Going through the nuts and bolts of the process is fun.

And, distracting. Which is why it is a good thing. We all need distraction now and then.

I think we all daydream from time to time.
We shut ourselves off from the real world and to go somewhere nice in our thoughts.
As @ChazMaz stated it is a distraction.
