What was that band that I heard on NPR last night?

Asked by silverfly (4055points) August 13th, 2010

The band that NPR played around 10pm (CST) was similar to a band named Shearwater, but a little more heavy. They said it was the Lores, or the Lowes, or the Loans, but I can’t figure it out. Any ideas?

NPR isn’t necessarily a ring of stations that plays everything at the same time across different stations. Which show or individual station were you listening to?

Get the call letters of your local public radio station. You can then google last night’s schedule and possibly the program list. You can also call the station and ask someone.

By and large, people who work for public radio are user-friendly and happy to oblige.

Thanks. I emailed them. I’m thinking that I was way off and it could have been Shearwater after all.
