What's the best urban/hipster travel guide?

I think Time Out goes for that. I like lonely planet- it usually provides a good starting point

Wherever you are, just try to follow a dude who wears all black clothing, a hat with the brim tilted slightly to one side, and who rides a fixie with lots of spoke cards. Chances are he/she will know where to hipster it up. Extra points if said person has lots of star tattoos and an undeserved sense of accomplishment.
