What's a good song for an end-of-year high school concert?

Anything that can even remotely be related to school.
Each gender group gets together to perform their own act, and at the moment the girls want to perform a ‘sexy’ version of a Beyonce song, which I’m not comfortable with as I think the song should have a point to it, rather than just us shaking our stuff.
So just any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks chocolatechip, it was a nice song, but I don’t see us coming up to a dance routine to that.

Other songs I’ve considered are geek rock/science songs, so stuff by Jonathan Coulton, They Might Be Giants and Tom Lehrer, but I can’t seem to find anything just right.

Old Lang Syne. This song is pefect for your situation. its not just a Christmas or end of year song, it can be applied to any given situation. and, your friends will remember this for the rest of their lives, when they hear this song.

Every senior-year event must feature this song about 100 times. I think they passed a law back around 2000 about this.

They are all great suggestions. I think we’re going to go with “I am a Scientist”. Would be nice to promote the science faculty!
