Is there a DVD Player that can read Subtitle files?

Asked by albert_e (529points) September 11th, 2010

I watch most video files along with Subtitle files (*.srt, *.sub) downloaded from the Web.

On my laptop, I use VLC media player.

I am planning to buy a DVD player which accepts a USB Drive as input, so I can watch them on TV.

Is there a DVD Player that can read the subtitle files along with the video files and show them on TV?

Thanks!

@RareDenver thanks, would it work with files other than Divx, like AVI, and MPG?
