Selfish was already said, but that was my first thought. My second thought is compassionate, but only until we are taught not to be.

^^^ When my son was just 3 months old he was laying on his blanket in the living room. His 2 year old sister was in the basement and she started crying about something. When he heard it my son’s little face just crumpled and he started crying too. :(
