Never fails. You’ll be in a nightclub somewhere, and some chick will have on a short shirt, and low slung pants, proudly displaying a good part of her thong. Please! It is so gross and crude and not sexy IMO. An innocuous panty line would be in much better taste.

I think the reasons vary – I usually don’t wear underwear so that’s that.
@Lightlyseared I don’t think so either. I don’t know why some women seem to think that they are.
Let me voice the alternative opinion. Yes, I think they are sexy on the right person and at the right time. By on the right person I mean someone with the physique to pull it off (pun incidental). By at the right time, I mean in privacy, and not glaringly obvious as you described. So many people (women and men alike) don’t understand that hiding the “goods” is so much sexier than being entirely too revealing. Like playing “hard to get”, only with clothing.
The idea of a piece of fabric (no matter the cut) rubbing all over someone’s ass or crotch does nothing for me.
The person is sexy to me, not the underwear.
I only wear it with certain dresses where it’s necessary, but usually, no. Too uncomfortable. ugh.
I do not like when they are outside the pants.

@eeveegurl I can understand some women putting up with the discomfort only so that they won’t show a panty line. Nobody know they’re wearing one, so that’s a different type of situation. (WHY do we women put up with some much discomfort in the name of fashion? Why don’t the men do that???)
Thongs are not sexy. Naked female asses are attractive. Thongs are what are worn to basically let the ass be naked while not violating local law. Thongs worn as underwear, thus having the ass covered anyway, are idiotic.
@Val123 Well in our defense, we often have to wear neckties, which aren’t too comfortable.

The part of the thong that show over the top of the low-slung jeans is known as WHALE TAIL.
@stratman37 Yes, I learned that just today, as a matter of fact. But….why “whale” tail? Why not something a bit more flattering (although the thong showing is anything but flattering) like…..Cat Tail?
i dont think its sexy when theyre sticking out. that looks trashy. but they can be sexy, but other types of underwear can too.

@shilolo I think “hiding the goods” is sexy because it leaves it all to the imagination and the imagination is always better than reality.
I’m not a big fan of thongs (especially the ones that hang out of a girl’s pants). They’re ridiculously uncomfortable. I tend to wear those cute boy short panties like this.

99% of the time I wear panties similar to what @ItalianPrincess1217 showed, but I will wear a thong if I’m on a mission to get laid and I’ll wear lingere such as this I actually own this one it gets the job done :) They are just way too uncomfortable to wear all day!

@shilolo Well, I for one am glad they have a name for it that certainly doesn’t indicate that it’s sexy, because it’s not. And I don’t think it’s age related, because the vast majority of the people up there agree that it’s not sexy!

Thongs aren’t sexy when seen through or poking out of clothes.

on the tangent of VPL, my boyfriend thought it’d be really hot if I would just straight up take my underwear off to avoid the VPL and share with him. But that’s not happening.
