Is anyone else not receiving any "Questions for You"?

I didn’t notice, but I have seen questions on my interest subjects come up that weren’t directed to me.

Given that I have 3500 questions to look at, a few days of not having any more added wouldn’t be such a bad thing.

@YARNLADY That’s exactly what I’ve noticed too. But, I haven’t gotten any questions at all, which is weird.

I’m not. =( And I was wondering why.

I think I did get a couple, though they may have just been activities.

Maybe it’s some sort of bug, or maybe there’s simply no new questions. You could always browse (that’s how I found yours here).

@Jack79 I know I can browse, but then I won’t have questions specifically picked for me. That was special :(

none here..last few days actually

In the last week or so I’ve been getting the questions multiple times in mine. The same question, sometimes twice in a row and sometimes there’s a few in between them. I thought I was crazy. Didn’t I just delete that question? WTF?

@elijah: From experience as a mod, I believe that you get the same Q more than once if it is edited and released back to the public stream. You got it the first time and the second. More than that and I have no idea. That was just something I noticed about Qs suggested for me that duped—it was always Qs that had been edited.

None for me either.

I PM’d Andrew about it earlier today. He’s not getting them ether and is looking into it.

Not getting any either.

It started when they brought the server down for an upgrade, i think.

Frankly, it’s a bit of a relief since I seem to get 1 out of 5 questions asked.
Now I have a chance to catch up.

Am i getting them all then?!?! I have 99!! They just jumped up over the past few days, I went for a week last, with out any at all….... weird!

Well, I’m glad I’m not the only one. I asked on Twitter if any of the Flutherites on my list weren’t getting any questions for them, but nobody answered me. :( I usually get 30–40 questions a day and haven’t gotten ANY since a few hours after the servers were back up.

Im still not getting anything…

Me neither. I thought it was because I’d removed several a few days ago when I was away and didn’t have time to answer them, but apparently not.

@janbb that’s exactly what I thought until I saw this question. It was a relief to see it and find out that wasn’t the reason.

Any responses yet as to what is going on and when it will be back up and running properly??

I’m betting that the guys took the weekend off. Andrew just figured out something was happening on Friday. (30-ish hours ago)

@fireside you know what, i never thought of that, some people don’t get on the internet everday (especially if it is work for them), lol :)

As much as I’d like it to be fixed, I know how work is… I’d like Ben and Andrew to have some free time. =)

Most of us want Ben and Andrew to have some free time! I think we’re being pretty patient, waiting for an update without excessive complaining. We know our benevolent overlords will get things fixed eventually. :)

I don’t think I’m getting as many, tho. Sometimes I get so many that I can hardly keep up with them. I’ve just gotten like 3 today.

I’m getting them again, but one of them was a q I had already answered. Better than nothing. :)

I’ve gotten one so far today, even though the list of newborns contains many things on my list of interest.

@YARNLADY Yeah, I don’t think things are quite right yet.

I think the list got reset. They build upon our profile in the background by adding keywords based on questions we answer. Right now we seem to only be getting questions specifically related to the keywords in our profile, not the complied list of keywords based on usage history.

@tinyfaery there’s a ‘remove all’ button. You can be rid of them in one fatal click of the mouse.

I kept up on the questions every day. I knew they weren’t sending them to us, so I’d go through the list as far back as I recognized what I’d already seen. I didn’t miss any of them that way. If you’re not comfortable in deleteing the lot of them, then don’t.

May 30, 2009: My questions for you quit showing up today, after the “closed for servicing” again. Anybody else?

@YARNLADY I haven’t been on since around 1130am EST, but I do have some in my “questions for you” (14 to be exact.)

Huh. I wonder why I have gotten any today? All I have is activity for you, but I find many interesting questions in the ‘all’ list.
