Has anyone heard or known of any specific reasons as to why you should wear a anklet on a particular ankle?

If there is some meaning behind wearing an anklet on a particular foot, like wearing an earring in a left or right ear, I’m obvilous to it. I’ve always worn one on my left, and no one has mentioned any meaning of it to me. All I know is that there is something sensual about it.

Me too, I’ve never heard of there being any particular connotation about wearing an anklet on one side or the other.

But then I did a quick Google search and found a British site that said something about wearing anklets, especially on the right leg, signified that one was a “hot-wife.” I’m in the U.S. so I have NO idea what that means, but I’m sure it’s not something good.

In the U.S., as far as I know, it only means that you like jewelry.

Years ago (and I mean years), there was an unwritten rule about wearing ankle bracelets. Sorry, I can’t remember it, and neither can my sister. We came to the conclusion that maybe its a figment of our imagination. Anyways, just do like I do and wear one on each ankle and have some fun with it.
