Is there a way to make my games go to full screen in VMware Player?

I installed VMware Player yesterday and put Windows XP Home Edition on it, so I could play my games that aren’t compatible with Windows 7. Windows XP and my games are running great, but the only problem is that the screen for the games only fills the center of my monitor. The Windows XP desktop is full screen. How do I make my games full screen?

I don’t know about VM Player but I know that in VM Workstation you have to install the guest tools in order to have full functionality inside the VM.

I’m not sure how it works on VMware, but VirtualBox on Ubuntu gives you the option to switch the virtual display to fullscreen… If you had something like that on VMware and set your virtual resolution to match that of your monitor, I don’t see any reason it wouldn’t work =]
