@ hollister, we have a 19 mo old and keep us busy as well, I’d say 2–3 days a week.. This weekend there were 3 times though, LOL

oh sometimes its 2 to 3 times a day. I dont know. I guess sometimes its like sex is all we think about. Sending naughty text messages. Stuff like that and more. But can’t say publicly. LOL

I’m 32 and my wife is 33. And let me tell you she sometimes is a raging bull. LOL. They say womens sex drive increases around that age

I have been married for 5 years and maybe 2–3 times a week. First two years we where like every day

We have a 5yr old and a 6mo old…but somehow we manage at least every other day. It’s sure not easy sometimes, but we try to stay on top of things (no pun intended, lol).

Whatever!! My husband posted this question. He is clearly delusional, it’s more like 3 times a week. He’s getting an earful when I get home…..and no sex.

my overall impression is that for whatever combination of reasons (sex-crazed society, movies, hollywood and celebrities in general, people talking it up, etc) many people have the perception that everyone else is having all this frequent, amazing sex – but actually most people are thinking they’re the exception (the “lame”, embarrassed-to-say-it exception, i might note) when they’re the norm

It is my understanding that 2 or so times a week is a good average. But that more is fine and less as well.

The perfect number is what you and your husb/wife are ok with.

I, unfortunately am averaging once or twice in the last 5.5 years. Needless to say it is a point of stress for me as it is not what I am ok with nor is it what we talked about when we talked about getting married and went through the “kids, money, sex” compatability issues talk.

My husband is a trucker. He is only home 3–4 days out of the month usually. We only have sex, then. It’s hard for me. I have a higher drive than he does.
