Is Fox News covering the Rupert Murdoch scandal?

Asked by cockswain (15286points) July 14th, 2011

Just wondering if they are giving it the fair and balanced treatment relative to the rest of the general media. I don’t watch the channel. I’m counting on you to tell me.

They mentioned it today, I don’t know how in depth they went. It was on in the break room at work as I went by.

I’m sorry, did you say ‘fair and balanced’ and Fox News in the same breath? There’s your problem.

I don’t know, but Andy Borowitz is covering it really well.

Maybe Bill O’Reilly will cover it. He’s fair and balanced…...jk

I am not in North America right now, however, my mother is a devoted Fox News viewer. I feel that Fox will not give this anywhere the in depth coverage it deserves from a news channel.

@marinelife That was awesome.

@simone Uh, obviously you aren’t familiar with what makes Fox so great? They present a “fair and balanced” view of the news? Both sides? Totally fair? Totally balanced? Hello?

Yes, Fox News has just divulged, based on in-depth professional journalistic investigation that Prince William and his new wife Kate were the ones who actually hacked those controversial phones.

@WestRiverrat Thanks for that link. There is adware that wouldn’t let go of my computer for 2 minutes.

WestRiverrat's avatar

@filmfann sorry I don’t notice the adware, my firewall takes care of it for me.

@filmfann I didn’t have any trouble with the link either. Are you sure it wasn’t something else?

filmfann's avatar

Am I sure? No. But I couldn’t attribute it to anything else.
Every time I closed the window, another would pop open.
