Having trouble with Last.fm?

Asked by Breefield (2733points) May 10th, 2008

I’m can’t get the scrobbler to play since the recent update. Also, I can’t tell it to hide from the Dock anymore, they removed the option I guess…bummed me out.
Anyhow, here’s a screenshot. The play button just won’t activate!

I’m having problems too. No songs have been scrobbled for a while and I have the same problem with the play button. And it is saying it can’t connect to the username/password server.

Yeah, somewhat annoying. But I’m sure they’re aware. Maybe I’ll try and find an older version of the software.

I didn’t update the software recently. I’m using Version 1.4.2.58240

I think the problem is on their end. And it won’t let me update it.

I’m using 1.5.0.25618…so my version is newer

That would be a good indication that they are having problems with their servers. I’m sure it will be fixed soon. But I am going to send them an email letting them know of the problem.

Well this was submitted yesterday. So, it looks like they maybe having issues today and tomorrow as well.

Hmmmmm, hard to know though. I’m still bummed that I can’t hide the icon from the Dock though.

This might help.

And the page looks ghetto. But the app works.

I find that sometimes the Last.fm program doesn’t snag the scrobbled tracks off my iPod. I can’t figure out why.. it happens even if I open iTunes, plug in my iPod, and just let it go, not touching anything.

Anyone else have this problem and/or know how to fix it?

AlenaD, I seem to have the same issue off and on. Sometimes it scrobbles, but there’s nothing that’s triggering it.
