How to remove last user to login from MS Outlook 2007?

Asked by DylanMueller (210points) July 10th, 2012

At work our computer displays the domain name then the last user to login (Example below)

Domain\John

Is there anyway to have MS Outlook 2007 automatically remove the last username to login so it would just show the Domain name followed by the back slash? (Example below)

Domain\

Just followed your link, and the directons. It removed the last username from the actual operating system. Causing me to have to input the username and password for the actual computer, not Microsoft Outlook 2007.

Close, but no cigar.

In my experience, the latest person automatically replaces the previous one.

So
blippo\person1 is the first person
blippo\person2 is the second person who comes along – his name (person2) gets saved

Then blippo\person1 comes back. He sees that it says blippo\person2, but overtypes it and logs in as blippo\person1. At that point, blippo\person1 is saved for the future.

If you want to hide evidence of your login, when YOU are finished, log off and enter the login name of the person whose name was their first (when you arrived). You don’t know the password, but that’s OK, just hit <submit> It will try and fail to log into outlook, but it will remember his login name.
