I can’t stand it, but I am a software developer so I have to develop for it because there are confused people out there who refuse to use Chrome or FF.
(Windows 7)

I have Windows 7 which is great and I use IE9 which I prefer to Chrome or Firefox. The thing I like least about it is the ‘most visited sites’, which is useless to me as I keep such sites in links. Other than that it is what I am familiar with and it works great for me.

Oh god, my Web + Multimedia teacher would rant against Explorer all. the. time . . . apparently it actually holds up development of web tech + design, since it has such weird rules and is a pain to develop for, as @tom_g mentioned. This teacher told us to spread the gospel of Firefox and Chrome, and tell our grannies and parents to stop using Explorer.

I never use IE in any version whatsoever. I don’t care how many “improved” versions they keep foisting on us. It’s all crap.

There was exactly one time in my life when I used it. That was after buying a Lenovo laptop for a bargain price on Craigslist.

I had to use IE in order to download Fire Fox :) That’s it.

I stopped choosing to use IE loooong ago, and only use it when necessary, which is at work. But I just discovered that at this particular employer, IT doesn’t stop me from installing my own programs, so even now I’m using Chrome more often! And I use Safari at home.
