Earbuds. Best brands that you use?

Asked by crazyandbeautiful (551points) December 12th, 2015

I go through earbuds like I go through clothes. Just recently I had my 3rd pair die on me. I keep 5 on hand. I know that is crazy. I’m OCD so that says a lot. But I want to know what is a good brand of earbuds that will last longer than 4 months. I buy them here and there and keep them on hand never thinking I’m going to use almost all of them up in a year’s time.

So what brand do you use? Where do you buy them? And do they last longer than 4 months?

I tend to lose them or they fall apart. I buy the cheapest ones at Target or a drug store, because I know that they will have a short life in my possession.

I like the ones that come with an iPhone or iPod best. For running, I will use jaybuds with blue tooth, although they are pricey.

If I had the money, I would get BOSE noise cancelling buds. I find when I pay a bit more I am more mindful of them and don’t lose them.

These are my fav so far. I like the braided cord and is way easier to untangle and they look great and sound amazing.

For the price these Panasonics can’t be beat.

I’m particular about them also. I have tried so many that I’m not going to admit to a number. At some point they end up in the dryer and get torn up, lost or otherwise abused so I cap the cost at ten bucks. I’m on my third set of these Best bang for the buck.
