(Sigh).

It’s possibly attractive.

Experienced people know to use this as a silent cue about attraction.

Maybe she’s trying to get the confidence to kiss it.

Lucky you..)

It’s hard for some people to look directly into other people!s eyes.

Maybe she just likes your lips ;)

Maybe you have food stuck in your teeth

Majoring in dental hygiene?

Even though I can hear very well, I tend to read people’s lips. I’m a visual learner, and I like to converse in concrete ways. She might simply have the same tendency.

Spinach – or something similar. That’s my guess.

Because if she didn’t you’d be asking why she looks you in the eyes all the time.

I’d look at your mouth too. My hearing isn’t what it used to be. I confuse sound like “th” and “sh” so I watch you speak to increase my understanding. Simple. No hidden meaning .
How is her hearing?

Welcome to Fluther.

She’s probably figured out that you aren’t a Gift Horse, so it’s safe to look there.

Seriously, though, a lot of people find eye contact too much to bear, and looking away from a person’s face while talking to him can seem rude. So in general it is ‘safe’ to look there. Maybe if you tried smiling more, she’d look at your eyes to see if it’s a real smile or not. (Because that’s where the truth of a smile lies, after all.)

josie's avatar

It is so gross that she simply cannot stop looking, even though she is repulsed by it.
Some people are simply that way.
The same reason that some people love seeing Olympic skaters fall down. You hate it, but you love it too.

jca's avatar

Maybe she wants to shove her tongue down your throat.

Tea_Gryphon's avatar

I look everywhere but peoples’ eyes when I speak. I know it’s horribly rude but I’ve always had a hard time with eye contact. That could possibly be it. Or, y’know, like others have said, they could wanna just kiss that mouth and can’t help but watch it move, wising it was moving against their own.

I like boobs..

LuckyGuy's avatar

And if she is wearing lipstick?! I can’t look away.

RedDeerGuy1's avatar

Maybe she is deaf.

Dutchess_III's avatar

She is wondering what you ate last and wonders if there is any left in your mouth.

Maybe she wants you. Who knows

I doubt that.
