Well, my son – he’s 7½ – asked me to ask my friends whether any of them don’t like sushi, and why they don’t like it.

Sushi is his favourite food.

It’s not the worst question we’ve had on the site.

Her’s is a very dry sense of humour, but yeah, we laugh at daft stuff.

I do not believe there would be a flurry of interesting questions of the Fluther age limit was lowered to 5, or even 10.
The lives of kids that age mainly revolve around grade school and home life. Questions in the vein are often adorable in person. Not so much typed into an online Q&A forum.

Not that you might not have something there. We had a member (I originally knew her from Askville, a defunct Q&A site) I found to be very grounded and insightful when she was about 13. By the time she was 16ish, she was just another insecure, confused kid. Pre-pubescent kids might have some of the best questions of all.
But, the law is not on that side.

There are almost certainly tons of questions here already from underage kids.
