Is there a way to forward all emails from my gmail account to another account?

Asked by marinelife (62485points) February 21st, 2017

I have a gmail account that I don’t check on a regular basis which sometimes comes back to bite me in the butt.

Is there some way to forward all of the incoming mail to the other account that I check daily?

Yes, easy.

Log into Gmail, click the ‘gear’ for settings.

Click settings.

Under “Forwarding and Pop/IMAP”, look at the very top choice.

Once you hit SAVE, it begins forwarding immediately.

Another option is
Settings -> Accounts and Import -> Check mail from other accounts

I use one Gmail login accessing several accounts with Gmail and Yahoo . I can send and receive on all accounts.

I keep them separate by using filters and labels, the “other” accounts’ mail all goes to separate folders, not to the Inbox.
Settings -> Filters and Blocked Addresses
