If I feel like I've pretty much asked every question about my life right now and worked though most of it, is it rude to leave without saying goodbye to fluther?

Asked by SensitiveChris (172points) May 5th, 2017

You don’t actually have to answer this, it’s not really a question it’s just that I’ve talked about a lot on here because I wanted to and some people here gave very supportive input and I appreciate it.
I just woke up from a nice nap and realized that this has been a journey and I feel like it’s time to take a step forward and be healthier.
Less beers, more sleep, less cell phone use and introspection on fluther and more living my life right now.
I need to get healthier all around and enjoy the next chapter of my life.
Thanks for welcoming me into your community It’s been helpful to get me through a lonely time, appreciate it. : )

I’m glad you are finally free from your inner demon.

It’s your choice to stay or leave, no one has any power on you in that matter. No one forces you to say goodbye either. But it’s always warm to know that a jelly deeply appreciates the community’s help and openly thanks us for our support.

You have also impressed me by turning from a pissy man who liked to create one account each hour to cause trouble to a sensible person who appreciated any attempt of genuine help in a short time. You learn from your experience and you try to improve yourself, which is something people expect from a good member.

I know you aren’t here to read this, but I’m speaking on behalf of the community And if you ever come back, either by lurking or with another account, you will be able to see that the community doesn’t hate you at all after what you have done in the past and is willing to welcome you again when you finally learn to be a decent person.

I hope that from now on you will free yourself from your ex’s toxicity and grow to be a better man, as well as raise your son to be a great human being.

You actually made a good decision. I hope you succeed.

Have a nice time. You’re always welcome here, of course.

I think it pays to keep the account open and maintain a relationship here.

In life, questions about all kinds of different topics will always come up. Maybe a new account will be better for you so you have a fresh start.

I am not on any other site like Fluther but sometimes I read comment sections in newspaper articles and people are so nasty. People on Fluther are not nearly as bad as others. I think it’s because we kind of know each other because we’re such a small and intimate community. I like that about Fluther and that’s what keeps me here instead of going to other similar sites.

Yes, keep the account open. You may want recipe ideas sometime in the future. Or how to add stuff to your car’s AC. Or some other odd thing that you may have a question about.

Thanks for joining.

Keep your account open. Things happen. Then other things happen that you never expected to happen. You might want to talk about it. We’re always here and we stay up late. If you come at the right time, we’ll feed you Funyons and wine coolers.

Even jellies sometimes need to take a break (I’ve done it myself), but I agree with others, there’s really reason to close your account.

^ you meant, no reason, I assume.
