Has a portable chair been invented yet? (details inside)

I would like to invent a pair of jeans that you can pull out a compressed air or physical compartment and sit on.

Not a folding chair. Something better?

Well you get two points for creativity, and -5 for practicality.

Given that there are lots of portable chairs available, from small to quite luxurious, why would anyone want the hassle of wearing inflatable pants? And what do you to do when it is time to move?

Karl Pilkington came up with Pilko Pump Pants during his telelvision show.
Here he is selling them on an infomercial. Pilko Pump Pants .

@LuckyGuy Is it legit? Not going to watch the whole 15 minutes.

Yes – sort of…
. He first proposed it on his TV show. Later he got funding to make some of them. He actually sold a few. It is worth seeing how they work. You can find his show and see when he first proposed it.

Those Pilko Pump Pants are just an inflatable cushion, not much of a chair.

Maybe there could be a way of having the chair legs inside the legs of a pair of pants, with joints by the knees. When you go into sitting position, the joints lock.

A Google search brings up a few patents on portable seats.
